If you love sun, sea, olives, and wine, this is the right tour for you.
We will visit Herceg Novi, a city recognizable by its mimosas and numerous stairs. It is also the city of the "sun" due to a large number of sunny days a year. In the center of Herceg Novi is the Old Town, which is decorated with buildings from various eras of history, which you will have the opportunity to see. Sahat - tower (1667), Kanli - tower (1483), Španjola fortress (1538) and Forte - mare fortress (1687) are only part of the cultural heritage of this famous city. Full of lush greenery, Herceg Novi hides many types of tropical flowers, which were brought by sailors from various parts of the world. At the end of January, the entire city exudes the delicate scent of yellow-green mimosas, so the festival called the Mimosa Festival is dedicated to this flower.
After we get tired of walking around Herceg Novi, we will visit the Savina monastery. Savina Monastery is located next to Herceg Novi, it was built in lush Mediterranean vegetation on one of the most beautiful parts of the northern Montenegrin coast. The monastery consists of three churches: the Small Temple of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Great Temple of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the Church of Saint Sava, after which the monastery was named. The monastery contains a large number of relics from the Nemanjić era (relics of Empress Jelena, cross of St. Sava), including one transferred from the Tvrdoš monastery. The Temple of St. Sava, which was built by St. Sava, is located outside the monastery complex
When we are done with the tours, we go to the Savina winery. As in a fairy tale, we will enjoy the taste of good wine, the smell of good food, and the view of the sea. We'll let the wine tell you the story. At the entrance to the Bay of Kotor, above the Savina Monastery, there is the winery of the Obradović family, with sun-drenched vineyards that bear fruit today as in the 18th century. Carefully selected grapes from the vineyards and well-kept wine in French oak barrels produce top wines. You will try 5 types of wine and with each one, you will get the corresponding food that is served with the corresponding wine. When we finish the tasting, we will come back.
