Namely, on the part of the road from Kotor to Trojica, there is an M-shaped moat. According to the story, the young engineer Josip Slade-Šilović had the task of designing a modern road for cars from Kotor to Cetinje after the Berlin Congress in 1878. This designer from Trogir was later a palace builder, and with the letter M he allegedly showed his secret love for the Montenegrin princess Milena. The Montenegrin writer Jovan J. Martinović also passed on the joke of the people of Cetinje, which was created at the expense of this letter M. "And imagine if he accidentally fell in love with Princess Olga, this journey wouldn't end without a fiddle.
In the village of Njeguši, which is located between Kotor and Lovćen National Park, we will discover authentic Montenegrin culture and cuisine. You can try and buy local products such as prosciutto, cheese, wine and another. This village was once a historical power of old Montenegro. The country was ruled by a bishop, prince bishop and serdar, who was responsible for defense. Both positions were passed down the family lines in the clans based in Njeguši, which made Njeguši an important place. The most famous Njegušan is Petar II Petrović Njegoš, who was the Montenegrin bishop from 1830 to 1851. Njegoš, as he is known, was born in the only two-story house in Njeguši, and the house is now a museum. The house and furniture show the way a typical Montenegrin family of the upper class lived in the 19th century
After 30 min we will came in cpital of old Montenero great Cetinje. In order to protect its folk from the Ottoman invasion and preserve the orthodox religion and culture, the great emperor Ivan Crnojevic left the fertile area of Skadar lake and found shelter in the raw area of Lovcen Mount. Having built his palace and the Monastery, he founded the new seat of the old Montenegro and the seat of the Montenegrin Metropolitanate, the town of Cetinje.
In the center of the town where we first stop, you will see the bequest of the most important Montenegrins, the Petrovic Dynasty, which ruled the country for over 200 years: Biljarda - the residence of the bishop, writer, and philosopher Petar II Petrovic Njegos, King Nikola’s Palace, Monastery of Cetinje… Petrovics were constantly struggling against Turks for the independence of their homeland and finally gained it at the end of the 19th century and attracted various European countries to open their embassies in this small town. By visiting King Nikola’s palace our tour guide will introduce you to the life of the Royal Family Petrovic. You will also have free time to feel the peaceful atmosphere of Cetinje, explore the former embassies, or refresh in a café.

This city is the most popular tourist destination in the country and boasts excellent beaches as well as a lovely, walled city center. The old city center is picturesquely located on a rather small peninsula, and its narrow, winding streets hide a multitude of historic buildings, churches, and small squares that will amaze you. Among the most interesting monuments here is the Church of Saint John from the 7th century, Saint Mary of Punt from the 8th century, and the Church of Saint Sava from the 12th century. The medieval city fortress is called the Citadel, and right next to it is the picturesque Church of the Holy Trinity, built-in 1804.
