NJEGUSI + 25 SERPENTINE

Since we want to catch the sunset, we will start a little later. We start from Kotor and climb the old road from the time of the Kingdom of Montenegro. It is a road that calls for romance with beautiful views and landscapes, and the story of that road hides a legend about one love. Called the "serpentine road", the road has 25 switchbacks and offers you an incredible view of the Bay of Kotor.

 Namely, on the part of the road from Kotor to Trojica, there is an M-shaped moat. According to the story, the young engineer Josip Slade-Šilović had the task of designing a modern road for cars from Kotor to Cetinje after the Berlin Congress in 1878. This designer from Trogir was later a palace builder, and with the letter M he allegedly showed his secret love for the Montenegrin princess Milena. The Montenegrin writer Jovan J. Martinović also passed on the joke of the people of Cetinje, which was created at the expense of this letter M. "And imagine if he accidentally fell in love with Princess Olga, this journey wouldn't end without a fiddle.

We will stop and enjoy the view, snacks, a bottle of wine, and a glass of conversation in the Horizont restaurant, which is built into the rock.. An incredible experience of enjoyment at 900 m above the Bay of Kotor itself. There is also a view of the surrounding cliffs, mountains, and the famous Pestingrad. The ambiance is minimalistic, made of natural materials - wood and stone. It consists of six cascading terraces, the first of which is glazed. No one has stayed happy in this place, so neither will you. Many engagements and beautiful acquaintances took place here, and that's why the place has a soul. If there is live music, which is sometimes organized, you are in luck. As soon as she wakes up, you will enjoy the sounds of nature and laughter.
